Nathan Apffel and Chris Ayoub, the creators of the docuseries The Religion Business, came on to talk about the Vatican, demons and the financial practices of Western religion. Mark Bunker spent decades as a critic of the Church of Scientology and walked through that history. Bek Lover took the conversation into aliens, demons and satanic rituals. And under Cartels, Ed Calderon’s episode on the three ground zeroes of the Mexican cartel occult covers Santa Muerte, La Luz del Mundo and the beliefs that sit under the violence. Belief systems, the institutions built on them and what happens when they go wrong.
